How much refund will I get on IRCTC cancellation?
The refund depends on how many hours before departure you cancel. 48+ hours before: only a flat clerkage charge. 12–48 hours before: 25% of fare or the flat charge, whichever is higher. 4–12 hours before: 50% of fare. Less than 4 hours before or after chart preparation: no refund for confirmed tickets.
